Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Will the Slim fit through a 3.5-inch opening, and what margin remains?
Roborock lists a 3.23-inch body, leaving a small nominal clearance. Measure rugs, furniture skirts and uneven spots; this is a listed standard package, not a currently available offer.
Explore this need in the finder →Is this the standard tank-based Qrevo Slim rather than a plumbed dock?
Yes. This exact standard package names Multifunctional Dock 3.0 and its manual identifies removable clean/dirty tanks; the separate Refill & Drainage system is another package.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the Qrevo Slim use dual spinning mop pads or a refreshed roller?
It uses dual spinning pads and an extending edge mop, not the refreshed roller system used by Qrevo Curv 2 Flow.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a dock mop-wash temperature of at least 75°C confirmed?
No numeric temperature is published for this U.S. offer. “Hot water” wording does not satisfy a minimum-temperature requirement.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the exact Slim be used when high-pile carpet support is essential?
No. Its exact U.S. manual says not to use it on high-pile carpet and warns about dark carpet; the claimed mop lift is not carpet-pile approval.
Explore this need in the finder →Which Wi-Fi band does this exact robot support?
The Qrevo Slim manual and official product page specify 2.4GHz only; a 5GHz-only network is incompatible.
Explore this need in the finder →Does Roborock list at least 11,000Pa suction for this model?
Yes, the exact U.S. page lists up to 11,000Pa. This is a maker maximum, not an independent cleaning result.
Explore this need in the finder →This assessment covers the standard U.S. Qrevo Slim offer with Multifunctional Dock 3.0, not the separately listed certified-refurbished SKU or the plumbing-connected Refill & Drainage configuration. The standard U.S. product record identifies Default Title SKU RR-QrevoSlim5-M1; its model-specific manual identifies robot QC0CRL and dock EWFD17LRR. Roborock's page currently shows “Out of stock, coming soon,” a sold-out button and a separate “product has not been launched yet” notice, while the native variant is unavailable. Treat the page as an identity reference, not a promise that a new unit can be ordered today.
The reason to consider the Slim is its short body
Roborock lists the robot at 3.23 inches high. Its StarSight system is described as dual-light solid-state LiDAR/3D time-of-flight sensing paired with an RGB camera for obstacle recognition. The low profile can make the model worth comparing when furniture clearance is the main constraint, but measure the whole route rather than relying on the gap at the front edge: upholstery sags, rug lips and uneven flooring can remove the apparent margin. A 3.5-inch opening is a nominal fit on the listed body height, not a guarantee that every route is safe.
The manufacturer lists 11,000 Pa maximum suction, a DuoRoller Riser dual-roller brush, two spinning mop pads and a FlexiArm side brush and edge mop. These are product claims and described mechanisms, not independent pickup, hair-tangling or stain-removal results. Choose the Slim if those features address a specific layout or care preference; do not treat a suction number or an edge-reaching arm as a measured whole-room cleaning score.
Know which dock and water routine the SKU means
The exact U.S. listing names Multifunctional Self-Cleaning Dock 3.0, and the matching manual identifies EWFD17LRR. The dock automatically empties dust, washes the mop pads, dries them with warm air, refills the robot's water tank and cleans its detachable base. The standard offer uses removable clean- and dirty-water reservoirs. You still have to carry and refill the clean tank, empty dirty water, change the dust bag and periodically wash the base and cloths.
That is different from Roborock's separate Refill & Drainage dock, where the installation page calls for fixed clean-water and drain connections and notes that this package is sold only in some regions. The standard SKU is the more plausible fit for a home that cannot plumb a dock, but it is not maintenance-free. The dock's outside dimensions and the manual's room-clearance guidance are different measurements: Roborock lists the dock at 13.39 × 19.17 × 20.51 inches without labeling the axes, while the manual asks for about 0.9 m of height, 0.4 m of width and 1.2 m of depth for placement and access. Check the space and the tank-carrying routine before considering the automation useful.
Mopping and carpet limits remain separate decisions
The Slim uses dual rotating pads, not the continuously refreshed roller mechanism found on the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow. Its U.S. page says the dock uses hot water to wash the pads, but gives no numeric wash temperature. That cannot meet a chosen minimum such as 75°C. Dock washing also does not mean the robot mops with heated water: the Qrevo Slim manual directs owners to use cold water in the tank and says not to add disinfectant.
Roborock says the mops and brushes lift, and its feature page claims up to 10 mm of mop lift. Do not turn that figure into a carpet-pile rating. The exact manual says not to use the robot on high-pile carpet and warns that dark carpet may reduce performance; it publishes no maximum pile height. If thick rugs are essential, this is the wrong fact pattern to infer a fit from. The official U.S. materials also provide no numeric threshold-crossing maximum, so a step or raised transition needs a separate route check.
App, power and owner upkeep
The manual requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; 5 GHz-only networks are not supported. It also specifies a grounded nominal 120 V supply for the dock. The listed box contents are one robot, one dock, one dock base, one disposable dust bag, one power cable, two rotating mop modules and a manual. A first supervised run is sensible: pick up cords and loose items, watch the clearance at rug edges and confirm the mapped route before scheduling regular runs.
Automatic emptying and pad care shift chores but do not erase them. The manual covers cleaning the rollers, side brush, filter and sensors, as well as replacing cloths and emptying/refilling the dock reservoirs. Keep the removable base clean and let a rinsed filter dry fully before reinstalling it. The exact U.S. sources publish no numeric wash-water temperature, no high-pile allowance and no threshold maximum; those unknowns should remain unknown in a household decision rather than being filled in by a nearby model's specifications.
Standard versus refurbished is a purchase-condition distinction
The official certified-refurbished Qrevo Slim is covered in a separate assessment. Its native SKU differs, and its condition, warranty and availability questions differ; the robot and tank dock codes in the archived U.S. sources are the same. These are not two different cleaning mechanisms. Do not use the new-offer page to assume that a refurbished unit is new, or use refurb-policy language as proof of the standard package's condition.
For a low body that uses a different mop mechanism, read the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow review for its roller-mop configuration and compare the actual floor-care tradeoff. If the Slim's dock automation matters more than its height, compare other currently orderable tank-dock models rather than treating this conflicting listing as available. Before buying any result, verify that the seller is offering the standard Qrevo Slim package with the expected Dock 3.0, check its current status and warranty terms, and make sure the house fits its carpet, network and maintenance constraints.
