A practical comparison

eufy Omni C28 or E35: comparing two roller mops

The eufy Omni C28 White and Omni E35 both combine a vacuum with a roller mop and a dock that handles dust and water. They are not simply two suction numbers in the same shell. The C28 has a published threshold statement and a specific carpet warning; the E35 has a higher manufacturer suction maximum and a more detailed set of roller measurements, but leaves important route limits open. A third useful comparison is Roborock's Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, which also uses a roller and a removable-tank station but has its own carpet and liquid-floor cautions.

Start with the surface and route—not the headline number

For the C28, eufy lists 15,000 Pa, while the C28's official support answer says it is designed to cross thresholds up to 2 cm. The same answer warns that slick metal sills can still prevent crossing. Its manual says to avoid high-pile rugs and rugs thicker than 18 mm. That makes the C28 the more useful choice to evaluate when a documented 2 cm transition matters, but it does not promise success on every threshold.

The E35 lists 35 kPa suction. Its manual specifies a 290 mm roller, 16 N mop downforce and 32 mm mop extension; it also lists 30 mm obstacle clearance and 26 mm carpet clearance. Those are not a threshold-crossing maximum or a supported carpet-pile height. If a route must reliably pass a particular sill or clean a deep rug, do not convert one of those clearances into an answer that the manufacturer did not publish.

The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow sits between them on listed suction at 20,000 Pa and has a 270 mm powered roller. Roborock documents an automatic lift and shield, but its exact U.S. manual says not to use it on high-pile carpet and warns that dark carpet may reduce effectiveness. The page's wet-mess language also sits alongside a manual caution against any liquid or sticky substance on the floor; the documents do not fully reconcile that scope. It should not be selected as a spill-cleanup machine.

Compare station chores as part of the operating plan

Both eufy models use removable-tank stations and automatically empty dust, wash the roller, and dry it. The C28's manual lists 2.2 L clean- and dirty-water station tanks and a 3 L dust bag. The E35 manual lists 2.5 L clean water, 2.4 L dirty water, and a 2.5 L dust bag. These capacities describe the containers, not a fixed number of weeks between service. Household floor area, hair, dirt, and run frequency change how often you refill, dump, and replace supplies.

The E35's manual says the dock washes and dries the roller at 55°C, but it does not identify a measurement point or state that 55°C water reaches the floor. Do not count it as a verified wash-water or warm-water-mopping match. The C28 manual describes warm-air drying without a temperature, so its drying mode is not a published wash temperature either. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow's 75°C figure is specified at the dock heater output, while its manual says to fill with cold water; that is not warm water delivered during mopping. A numeric temperature requirement should be matched only to its stated source-specific basis.

Let the answers change the shortlist

If 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is available, all three exact manuals reviewed here document a 2.4 GHz connection. A 5 GHz-only home is not confirmed for these configurations. If you require a roller, all three have one; if you specifically want spinning mop pads, none is the right answer. If you require automatic roller washing and drying, all three document a station process—but each still needs water handling, bag changes and cleaning.

Then apply the deal-breakers. A documented 2 cm threshold claim points toward the C28, with the stated surface caveat. A 30,000 Pa minimum listed suction requirement points to the E35 among these three, but that is still a manufacturer rating rather than a pickup comparison. A high-pile carpet requirement rules against the C28 and Qrevo Curv 2 Flow based on their manuals; the E35 has no numeric high-pile approval in the sources reviewed, so unknown must not be treated as yes. For sticky spills, no wet-mess demonstration overrides a manual warning.

Measure furniture gaps and station clearances, check the network where the dock will be installed, and decide whether you want a robot that vacuums and mops together or one that can mop without vacuuming. eufy's C28 does not support mopping-only mode; the E35's reviewed documentation also does not establish a separate mop-only routine. Pick the model whose exact instructions fit the room and household routine, then read the current guide for its cleaning-solution and maintenance requirements before setup.
