Roborock S7 Max Ultra (Certified Refurbished) review

A pre-owned, manufacturer-certified refurbished S7 Max Ultra offer with the same Q100TSC vacuum-mop and removable-tank RockDock Ultra functions as the standard model. The current U.S. offer is unavailable; refurbishment condition and warranty terms are distinct from the standard SKU.

A useful fit for

A reference for a shopper comparing a manufacturer-certified used S7 Max Ultra with the same single-cloth mopping and tank-based RockDock Ultra system as the standard offer. The refurbishment policy describes restored pre-owned products, a six-month limited warranty and a battery-capacity test standard, but the exact page is currently unavailable and no unit-specific test result is published.

The main tradeoff

The refurb SKU is separate from the standard offer and lists White only. Its page says out of stock/coming soon and also not yet launched; a program-level around-80% battery statement is not an individual battery report. The exact included dock suffix remains unspecified, and the model still requires 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, owner-managed tanks and a space for the RockDock.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Will a 3.8-inch listed robot body fit the tightest opening on your route?

Roborock lists the robot at 13.9 × 13.8 × 3.8 inches, but does not label the axes; using 3.8 inches as nominal height is not a guarantee at rugs, uneven floors or sagging furniture. It clears a four-inch numeric screen, not a 3.5-inch one.

Does your home provide the documented 2.4GHz network band?

The model manual specifies 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. A home with a 2.4GHz network fits; a 5GHz-only network does not.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must the robot use a single sonic VibraRise cloth rather than dual spinning pads?

The S7 Max Ultra uses one reusable vibrating VibraRise cloth; a dual spinning-pad mechanism is a different product choice. The manufacturer describes sonic vibration, not an independent stain-removal result.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is at least 5,000Pa of manufacturer-listed suction a sufficient filter?

Roborock publishes 5,500Pa maximum suction. This clears a 5,000Pa maker-claim threshold, not a pickup test; a 6,000Pa minimum would not be met.

Explore this need in the finder →
Does the station need to empty dust automatically?

The RockDock Ultra package lists dust auto-emptying. The published bag interval is a conditional claim, and the owner still replaces the bag.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must the dock wash and dry the reusable mop cloth?

Yes. Roborock lists automatic cloth washing and drying, alongside dust emptying and tank refilling; no numeric wash-water or drying-air temperature is established.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can you use a removable-tank dock instead of fixed plumbing?

The manual shows removable clean- and dirty-water reservoirs. No supply line or drain is required, but the owner refills and empties the tanks.

Explore this need in the finder →
Do you require a published maximum supported high-pile carpet height?

No supported pile-height ceiling appears in the inspected U.S. material. The 5mm mop lift is not a carpet-pile rating, so an essential high-pile requirement remains unknown.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must the robot apply warm water to the floor while mopping?

No. The manual says not to put hot water in the robot tank; dock mop washing and floor-mop water are different operations.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must the dock publish a mop-wash temperature of at least 75°C?

No numeric dock-wash water temperature is published for this model. If 75°C is essential, unknown is not enough.

Explore this need in the finder →
Does a documented nominal battery rating of at least 5,000mAh fit your need?

The standard model page and FCC manual list 5,200mAh; that is a manufacturer specification, not a runtime or household test.

This is a review of Roborock's separate U.S. certified-refurbished S7 Max Ultra product, not the standard new offer. Its native product ID is 8326951436406 and its only listed finish is White, SKU RR-S70MaxUltraR-M1. The offer page uses the same RockDock Ultra package name and S7 Max Ultra feature description as the standard model. The U.S. FCC manual is the same exact-model manual family: robot Q100TSC, with EWFD04LRR and EWFD05LRR listed as compatible docks. It does not establish which suffix is in this refurbished box.

What refurbished changes—and what it does not

The refurbishment does not turn this into a different vacuum or mop mechanism. The model still pairs a LiDAR-mapped robot with one vibrating VibraRise cloth, a 5mm manufacturer-claimed mop lift and a dock that empties dust, washes and dries the cloth, and refills water from removable tanks. Roborock lists 5,500Pa maximum suction, but that is a maker rating rather than a measured pickup result. For the detailed floor-care, app and dock tradeoffs, see the standard S7 Max Ultra review; the decision here is whether the refurbished commercial offer is acceptable.

The official product title calls this “Certified Refurbished 90% New,” but that phrase does not reveal the exact cosmetic state or battery capacity of one unit. Roborock's refurbished-policy page describes products as pre-owned, professionally restored, inspected and cleaned. It says slight cosmetic wear can remain, accessories may mix new and recovered/tested parts, and batteries are tested to retain around 80% of original capacity. That is a program statement, not an individual-unit battery report. A buyer who needs a measured battery-health figure should not treat the policy wording as one.

Roborock lists a six-month limited refurbished warranty for manufacturing defects, excluding accidental damage or misuse, and a 30-day return window on the policy page. The refurbished product page itself also displays a generic one-year limited-warranty line with an extension-option note, while the separate refurbished-device policy states six months. Those statements conflict for this offer; do not assume the longer term applies. Check the exact offer and seller terms before a purchase. The potential upside is a professionally inspected used unit with a stated return route; the tradeoff is a shorter warranty and uncertain unit-specific wear compared with a new condition offer.

Check availability and fit before considering a listing

The direct refurbished page currently says “Out of stock, coming soon” and a separate widget says the product has not yet launched; its native availability flag is false. The general refurbished page also displays the model as out of stock. I do not infer a current price, restock date or orderable unit from a live product title. The page remains valuable as an identity and policy reference, but search results elsewhere should be checked for the exact White refurbished SKU and the actual seller's warranty.

The S7 Max Ultra function retains the same limits as the standard offer. It requires 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and a grounded 120V outlet. Its removable tanks mean no fixed supply line or drain is required, but the owner still carries clean water and empties dirty water. The manual asks for more than one metre of open space in front of and above the dock. A 3.8-inch listed robot body may help under low furniture, but the nominal number does not guarantee that a rug edge or sagging skirt will clear.

Roborock's sources do not give a high-pile carpet ceiling, a numeric threshold rating or a numeric mop-wash temperature for this U.S. offer. The manual says not to put hot water in the robot tank; dock wash and floor-mop water are separate operations. If any of those are essential, do not let the “90% New” label or a refurbished-program claim substitute for a missing feature specification.

Who may prefer this offer

The refurbished SKU may suit someone comfortable with a professionally restored, pre-owned robot who values the S7 Max Ultra's vibrating cloth and removable-tank wash/dry dock, and who accepts a six-month limited warranty and the program's battery test statement. It is not the right choice for a buyer who requires new condition, a verified unit-specific battery report, a one-year warranty, a precise included dock suffix or confirmed current stock. In either case, first compare the exact package and seller terms rather than relying on a similar S7 MaxV or S8-family listing. Those product names do not establish a matching station or included parts.
