Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the dock connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network?
The exact U.S. US-A00 manual says only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is supported and 5 GHz is not.
Explore this need in the finder →Does a 5 GHz-only network meet the setup requirement?
No. The US-A00 manual expressly says the robot does not support a 5 GHz connection; a 2.4 GHz network must be available.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you want a continuously rinsed roller instead of spinning pads?
The exact U.S. page describes fresh water supplied to the roller as it works. This is not a dual spinning-pad system.
Explore this need in the finder →Does 100 C station roller washing establish warm water on the floor?
No. Dreame claims up to 100 C at the station washboard, but the manual says not to add hot water to the clean-water tank and neither source states floor-mop-water temperature.
Explore this need in the finder →Can a removable-tank station work without a fixed water line and drain?
The standard U.S. RCHE0401-1 dock uses 4 L clean and 3.5 L used tanks. A hookup kit is a separate purchase and available only in specific regions.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a 4 cm single-step claim enough for the route?
Dreame lists up to 1.65 inches/4.19 cm for a single step. It is an in-house maximum, not a guarantee for every sill shape.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the higher 3.15-inch double-layer claim meet a 7.5 cm threshold need?
The 3.15-inch claim is about 8 cm, but applies to a double-layer step only when the lower step's top surface is over 3.15 inches wide.
Explore this need in the finder →Will the manufacturer confirm a dry-carpet result for pile above 0.47 inch?
No. The cited dry-carpet claim is limited to no thicker than 0.47 inch. The page separately says its carpet feature is not recommended above 1.18 inches; neither is a general result at deeper pile.
Explore this need in the finder →Must the roller assembly detach automatically before carpet vacuuming?
The page documents an AutoSeal roller guard and mop lift, not automatic removal of the mop assembly; unknown does not meet that essential need.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you want the separate pet-odor fluid compartment included?
The exact U.S. box list includes a preinstalled dual-compartment dispenser and pet-odor solution. The manual assigns the compartments separate fluids.
Explore this need in the finder →Must the included dock wash and dry the roller?
The U.S. specification lists automatic hot-water mop cleaning and hot-air drying; the manual still requires owners to maintain the washboard and tanks.
Explore this need in the finder →Is the 30,000 Pa listed maximum enough for a specification filter?
The U.S. page lists up to 30,000 Pa. This is a manufacturer rating, not independent pickup testing.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the manufacturer list at least 6,000 mAh battery capacity?
The exact product specification lists 6,400 mAh; capacity alone does not establish runtime or cleaning area.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need a retractable LiDAR sensor?
The product names VersaLift LDS and gives separate retracted and raised dimensions; app setup includes low-clearance coverage options.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the roller cover prove automatic mop-mount removal?
No. The product page documents lift and AutoSeal cover closure, but does not confirm the assembly detaches automatically. Unknown does not satisfy a required detach condition.
Explore this need in the finder →This review is for the U.S. Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller, not the separate Aqua10 Roller or Aqua10 Roller AE. Dreame’s current U.S. product record identifies one robot-and-station package in white (SKU 010201AA000568) and black (SKU 010201AA000668). Its U.S. manual names robot models RLH71DE and RLH71DE-1 with the RCHE0401-1 base. The listing is finish-variant evidence, not proof of extra station or cleaning configurations.
Choose it for a freshly rinsed roller, not a pad system
The Ultra Roller puts a powered mop roller on a vacuuming robot and supplies that roller with fresh water as it works. Dreame describes the roller as self-cleaning during mopping; it also lists a mop that extends, a side brush that extends and lifts, and a HyperStream detangling DuoBrush. Those are meaningful design choices if you want a moving, refreshed roller rather than two spinning pads or a flat cloth. They are feature claims, not independent proof that a robot will remove every dried mark or clean every edge.
Dreame lists up to 30,000 Pa suction and a 6,400 mAh battery; neither rating predicts pickup in your rooms or square footage per charge. The 220 ml dust box and 100/140 ml internal water boxes are small reservoirs, so the station handles the larger bag and tanks.
Its threshold claim depends on the step shape
Dreame’s specification table gives up to 1.65 inches (4.19 cm) for a single step and 3.15 inches (about 8 cm) for a double-layer step. The footnote qualifies the larger figure: the lower step’s top surface must be over 3.15 inches wide. These are maker in-house test claims rather than route guarantees. Measure the rise, tread and approach rather than assuming that any doorway, narrow lip or irregular transition will work. Dreame’s FAQ suggests its app’s passable-threshold setting or a ramp mat if a route does not clear.
The top LiDAR retracts. The product materials give a 3.84-inch profile with the sensor retracted and 4.72 inches raised; the app FAQ says its default Safe Coverage mode enters spaces from 113 mm, while an Extreme Coverage mode can enter from 98 mm with a warning that uneven undersides may scuff the top. Mapping does not lower the sensor into low spaces. Measure the actual under-furniture opening and use the right mode; “retractable” is not permission to ignore a low shelf’s uneven underside.
Carpet protection is not a promise for every rug
AutoSeal closes the roller guard and the product lists about 0.55 inch (14 mm) of height change when the mop lifts. Dreame says the carpet-care feature is not recommended above 1.18 inches of pile, and its cited dry-carpet result is based on carpets no thicker than 0.47 inch. Treat these as separate boundaries: the thin-carpet test is not proof that every rug up to 1.18 inches stays dry. Mark delicate or tasseled rugs to avoid, select vacuum-only where appropriate, and verify the behavior on your own floor plan. The page does not document automatic removal of the roller assembly, so the lift and guard should not be described as an automatically detachable mop mount.
The included station handles more chores, but still needs service
The U.S. listing includes the dual-compartment automatic solution module, one cleaning solution, one pet-odor solution, a cleaning tool, two dust bags, a washboard filter and a ramp extension plate. Its manual assigns cleaning fluid to one compartment and pet-odor fluid to the other. That is a useful distinction from the separately listed Aqua10 Roller AE’s optional single-compartment module. Dreame’s odor-neutralizing language is the maker’s claim, not a tested guarantee. Use only the manufacturer-approved fluids; the manual warns against mixing the two compartments or adding unapproved liquid.
The dock washes the roller with hot water, dries it with heated air, refills the robot and empties dust. Dreame lists up to 212°F (100°C) at the washboard, and claims 158°F (70°C) drying air with 140°F (60°C) heating bars. Those are dock wash/dry claims—not a temperature for water applied to your floor. The manual says to use clean, not hot, water and to clean the used-water tank after use. You still maintain the washboard and remove hair from the rollers; the station reduces daily handling but does not make the mop self-maintaining.
Tank capacity is listed as 4 L clean and 3.5 L used. The 3.2 L dust bag and “up to 100 days” are manufacturer claims whose real interval depends on debris and run frequency. The included dock uses removable tanks. A water-hookup kit is a separate purchase available only in specific regions, not the standard U.S. plan. Leave space to reach both tanks and the washboard, and check the large station’s 16.54 × 17.32 × 19.88-inch footprint before assigning it a corner.
Who should shortlist the Ultra Roller?
It is a plausible candidate for a home that wants one machine to vacuum and wet-mop, values an active roller and automatic wash/dry, and can service removable tanks. A 2.4 GHz connection is required; the U.S. manual says 5 GHz-only Wi-Fi is unsupported. Its grounded station is rated for nominal 120 V, 60 Hz. Check those setup constraints before purchase.
Compare the standard Aqua10 Roller if its different robot/base package and threshold or water-service details better fit your rooms; compare the Roller AE if the lower-priced Roller-family layout is more appropriate, but do not borrow this Ultra’s dual-fluid inclusion or 3.15-inch two-step claim. If you prefer dual spinning pads instead of a roller, consider a separately assessed model such as the Dreame D30 Ultra. In all cases, the exact robot, base and regional manual matter more than a shared Aqua10 family name.
