Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can a compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network reach the dock?
The exact US-A00 manual says only 2.4 GHz is supported and expressly says 5 GHz is unsupported.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you specifically want a continuously refreshed roller rather than dual spinning mop pads?
The U.S. page describes AquaRoll fresh-water delivery, powered roller scrubbing and dirty-water scraping; this is not a two-pad system.
Explore this need in the finder →Is the single-step threshold claim enough if your route needs a four-centimeter manufacturer maximum?
The U.S. page lists up to 1.65 inches (about 4.19 cm) for one single-layer rise. It is an in-house claim, not a route guarantee.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the up-to-100°C station roller-wash claim meet your need, or do you need warm water during floor mopping?
Dreame lists up to 212°F/100°C at the station for roller washing. The manual says not to add hot water to the clean tank and neither source states a floor-water temperature.
Explore this need in the finder →Can removable clean- and used-water tanks work at the dock location, without fixed plumbing?
The standard U.S. RCHE0403 package uses removable tanks. The manual treats a hookup kit as a separate, region-limited option.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the claimed two-layer maximum fit if 5.5 cm is enough and the doorway has the stated geometry?
Dreame claims up to 2.36 inches (5.99 cm) only for a double-layer step whose lower top is wider than 1.18 inches; geometry and approach still matter.
Explore this need in the finder →Is the manufacturer’s 30,000 Pa maximum-suction claim useful for comparison, rather than an independent pickup score?
Dreame lists up to 30,000 Pa for this exact package. That is a specification claim, not a test of pickup in your rooms.
Explore this need in the finder →The Dreame Aqua10 Roller is a robot vacuum-mop built around a powered roller that is rinsed with fresh water as it works. This assessment is for the U.S. white package in Dreame’s official listing: native product 14798474510708, SKU 010201AA000664. Dreame’s U.S.-specific US-A00 manual names the robot RLH31CE and its matching supply/base RCHE0403. The exact model codes matter: the roller-mop Aqua10 is not the Aqua10 Roller AE or Aqua10 Ultra Roller, and their package details should not be transferred here.
Why choose a refreshed roller rather than rotating pads?
The product page describes an AquaRoll system that continuously supplies fresh water through 12 nozzles, scrubs with the powered roller and scrapes dirty water away. Dreame lists 32 wetness settings and up to 1,100 g of downward force. Those are manufacturer claims, not independent cleaning measurements. The roller still needs clean water, dirty-water recovery and care.
Dreame also claims up to 30,000 Pa suction and supplies a HyperStream detangling DuoBrush. The page describes separate bristle-rubber and TPU-rubber brush components and claims long-hair pickup. Those figures do not establish carpet pickup, hair-wrap results in your home or avoidance of every cord and small object. Treat them as feature descriptions, clear the floor before a run and supervise initial mapping.
Keep the carpet and threshold claims in their lanes
The roller has an AutoSeal cover that the maker says closes over the mop on carpet, and the page lists a 14 mm lift. Dreame’s cited carpet-wetting test is limited to carpets no thicker than 0.47 inch. That is not a published maximum carpet-pile rating. If deep or high-pile carpet is an essential floor, this configuration remains unverified for that requirement; neither the cover nor the lift supplies a missing pile-depth specification.
Threshold numbers also describe two different shapes. Dreame lists up to 1.65 inches (about 4.19 cm) for a single-layer step, and up to 2.36 inches (about 5.99 cm) for a double-layer step only when the top of the lower step is wider than 1.18 inches. Both are in-house claims, not guarantees for a particular route. Measure the transition: the double-layer figure does not support a 6 cm single sill, and smaller irregular rises can still stop the robot.
The station automates mop care but keeps a tank routine
The included station empties dust, washes and dries the roller, refills the robot’s water supply and adds solution. Dreame lists a 4 L clean-water tank, a 3.5 L used-water tank, a 3.2 L dust bag and up to 100 days of dust collection. That last figure is a manufacturer estimate, not a promised interval; debris, pets and settings change how often the bag needs attention. The robot has a 220 ml dust box plus 100 ml clean- and 140 ml used-water boxes, so the full station routine matters more than the headline bag interval.
The product page says the station can wash the roller at up to 212°F (100°C) and dry it with up to 149°F air. The former is a station cleaning claim, not water delivered to the floor. Dreame’s footnote says the washboard PTC system can reach that temperature after heating under stated room conditions and that actual temperature may vary. The US-A00 manual says to fill the clean tank with clean water, not hot water, and to use only Dreame-approved cleaning fluid. It also directs the owner to empty and rinse the used-water tank after each completed task, and periodically remove and rinse the washboard. So this is less hand washing than a simple pad, not maintenance-free mopping.
Check the room, outlet and Wi-Fi before ordering
Dreame lists the robot at 13.78 × 13.78 × 4.72 inches and the base at 16.54 × 17.32 × 19.88 inches. The robot is relatively tall compared with low-profile options; measure the lowest point along its full route, including furniture skirts and rug edges. The station uses removable tanks in this package. Its manual mentions that a separate water-hookup kit is only available in specific regions; fixed plumbing is not included as the standard U.S. arrangement.
The exact manual says the station is for a grounded nominal 120 V circuit and warns against using an adapter. App setup requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; the troubleshooting section explicitly says the robot does not support 5 GHz. If the only network available at the dock is 5 GHz, do not assume the app will connect. Product materials show AI cameras and 3D sensing; check the app and privacy terms if camera-based features are not acceptable.
Who should consider it—and who should compare alternatives?
Shortlist this exact Aqua10 Roller if your priority is a robot with a continuously refreshed roller, a removable-tank wash-and-dry station, 2.4 GHz app control and the manufacturer’s conditional double-step claim. It is not a fit for an essential fixed-plumbing installation, 5 GHz-only setup, a 6 cm single threshold, a required 6 cm double-layer claim, or an evidence-backed high-pile carpet limit. You also need space for the base and willingness to keep up with tank, bag and washboard care.
If you prefer dual spinning pads rather than a roller, compare the separately reviewed Dreame D30 Ultra (robot RTD31TE, base RCDE0101). It uses a different mop mechanism and its published threshold claim is lower; its exact review explains the different tank and carpet uncertainties. If a roller is the attraction, the eufy Omni C28 is another separately documented roller configuration, not the same robot or station. Compare the exact models, manuals and image labels before buying; a shared mop category does not establish shared features.
